Today is Event Council Blog Hop time – this month’s theme is Valentine’s Day – Valentines’s Day is no big deal in Germany. However, since I love to make presents (and cards), I celebrate Valentine’s Day every year.
For me it is difficult to craft with red or pink colors, but these colors are a must for Valentine’s Day cards. Crafting with pink is a bit easier than crafting with red, that is why I choose Melon Mambo to be my color of the day.
For the card I made, I cut out a heart shape of a sheet of paper and used the negative as gauge. Then I stamped the leave-images with Versamark and embossed them in white. In the following, I colored the heart with Melon Mambo ink. Finally, I added all the little details.
For me, an absolute moring person, crafting at 10:30 p.m. is quite a challenge and I am happy that I mastered it. To be honest, the pictures were taken in the morning (bad light conditions) just before publishing this Blog content. Sometimes, everything is last minute.
Have a good day and enjoy crafting!
